Mooy’s agent: City move not bad

Aaron Mooy’s agent says the move to Manchester City is not a bad one and would not go the way of his compatriot Luke Brattan.

Brattan had joined as a free agent from his club Brisbane Roar last October but he was sent on loan immediately he joined. He was sent on loan to Bolton Wanderers in the lower division but he didn’t get a chance to play ant game until he returned to the Etihad where he trained with the academy team.

Mooy is placed on Premier League wages of $4 million a season. The Australian midfielder’s agent Paddy Dominguez addressed rising concerns about the player’s future going the way of Brattan. Dominguez said: “People would be stupid to think that either Aaron or I just jumped after seeing Manchester City’s headlights. He could have made more money going to the Middle East or China. He has gone to Manchester City for a specific reason. There’s a very well laid out plan for him, and that will all be revealed very soon.”
