Brisbane Roar wants to keep hold of John Aloisi on a long term deal

On May 26 of 2015, John Aloisi penned a managerial contract with the Australian A-League club Brisbane Roar and the 40 year old Australian coach was able to secure the 3rd spot of the league with 48 points.

Things have taken a huge turn for the worse for John Aloisi and his squad as this new season of 2016-17 has seen Brisbane Roar dropping points at a consistent basis and getting negative results instead of the impressive performances and results that they used to secure in his debut season.

Only 2 matches of the Australian A-League have been played so far but Brisbane Roar has not kicked off in the way that John Aloisi would have wanted it to as he witnessed his squad sustain a draw against Melbourne Victory in the opening match of the season on October 7 and 9 days later losing 0-4 against the Newcastle Jets.

The managing director of Brisbane Roar, Mark Kingsman has recently hinted the possibility of having the contract of John Aloisi extended as Kingsman said:

“We’re committed to John and he’s committed to us. His job has only just started here. He’s actually asked to delay formal talks about a new deal being he’s so focused on getting the team ready for the start of the season. As we expect from him, that’s been his priority but I’m certain we’ll have him sign a new coaching contract sooner rather than later.”

It seems like there is a really big possibility of John Aloisi having his contract extended as the coach himself stated that his wife and son are really enjoying life after having to shift countries and cities, it appears like the family of Aloisi are stable.
